Summary:

This SQL Developer/Systems Analyst position will be instrumental in the design, configuration, implementation, security and stability of the company’s database systems and applications. This role will also regularly interact with our team members ranging from the end user to upper management to understand, document and communicate their needs and perform requirements analysis to develop and deliver Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence data transformation and web-based solutions. Additionally, this position will ensure data integrity and accuracy, optimize database queries as necessary and resolve database performance issues.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Create, modify and design Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages.

· Development of web based solutions using Visual Studio and the .Net Framework (C#, VB.NET and ASP.NET) as required.

· Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions.

· Design and develop Business Intelligence solutions that will harness the volume of transactional data being generated and create actionable information for all levels of management.

· Develop new applications as requested to improve the organization’s productivity and/or processes and engage in the database development process, from inception through delivery.

· Assist with development efforts to define and automate data gathering, analysis and reporting processes.

· Collaborate with supervisor and other IT team members to gather information about program intent, functions, features, data requirements.

· Develop integrations for both internal systems and external customer systems.

· Design and develop various interactive systems delivered via client, web and mobile device interfaces.

· Develop a thorough understanding of the current business systems for purpose of supporting those applications and identifying opportunities to improve their utilization.

· Provide process improvements by automating manual processes.

· Responsible for monitoring and maintaining maximum performance of databases and identify poorly performing queries.

· Assist with the development of technical documentation of existing and future applications

· Facilitate on demand requests for data by writing and executing queries.

· Analyze, audit, modify, and update data in systems as required by other team members and to better serve the needs of the business.

Minimum Requirements:

· 3 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server DBMS including hands on creation of stored procedures, SSRS, SSIS and SQL performance tuning.

· Minimum of 3 years hands-on development experience with Microsoft .Net Development Suite of products (C#, VB.NET and ASP.NET).

· Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Analysis Services, Multi-dimensional OLAP cubes, Reporting Services, etc.) and Data Warehouse creation.

· A superior customer service attitude, including the ability to work with users of all skill levels and organizational levels.

· Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

· The ability to comprehend and apply new concepts quickly and effectively.

Desirable Qualifications:

· Experience with Microsoft PowerBI reports and dashboards.

· Experience with Microsoft SQL Server High Availability and Always On.

· Experience with Microsoft Office 365 products including SharePoint and PowerApps.

· Experience with mobile application development for iOS and Android.

· Experience with ERP applications.
