This role will primarily be working with an open-stack that currently consists of Java, JavaScript, Elasticsearch, and MongoDB. The platform runs on AWS with services like Elasticsearch, MongoDB Atlas, S3, Fargate, the API Gateway, and others.

We are looking for mid and senior-level Full Stack Developers to join our team. The ideal candidates will be motivated and excited to take responsibility for large parts of our application as well as be a strong mentor for the rest of the software development team. They will be successful in building scalable, maintainable, and extensible software on a Java/JavaScript stack.

Our DevOps team is working on web-based applications, building new systems, and supporting lines of business all while improving the stability, security, and efficiency of our systems.

What you'll do:

• Analyze/Study current systems and requirements to help form our software development life cycle and produce accurate estimates on new development.
• Design/Contribute to the design and architecture of our core platform.
• Build/Write the most complex and crucial parts of the system and help to build new features.
• Developers will teach, mentor, and guide our junior team members and help them avoid problems by harnessing previous experience.
• Improve/Provide input on our Agile processes and help the team to constantly get better.
• Contribute/Generate consistent development velocity via your skills and by helping the rest of the team find efficient paths forward.

Your day:

• Will vary between different components of our product, so this role requires technical flexibility and a desire to learn new skills quickly.
• Will work primarily with Java, JavaScript, Elasticsearch and MongoDB. Our platform runs on AWS with services like Elasticsearch, MongoDB Atlas, S3, Fargate, the API Gateway and others.
• Will show thought leadership by mentoring and assisting technical and non-technical staff members.

You'll bring:

• A track record of building and maintaining large-scale software products.
• Experience delivering high up-time Software-as-a-Service applications.
• Demonstrated ability to proactively manage tasks, projects, and issues.
• Mastery of Java, JavaScript, SQL, design patterns, REST, dependency injection, etc.
