eCommerce Product Specialist Overview: Centreville Gold & Pawn has effectively sold on eBay for over 5 years. We are now expanding our ebay team, as well as launching an ecommerce platform of our own and we are seeking a detail-oriented eCommerce Product Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate should be experienced in multi-channel eCommerce merchandising platforms such as Amazon, eBay, Walmart, New Egg, etc. The eCommerce Product Specialist is responsible for maintaining and monitoring account health and customer feedback as well as supporting product listing efforts. The ideal candidate has a high drive for results and has demonstrated experience driving eCommerce business and accountability through various marketplace channels. Centreville Gold and Pawn has been a successful local business for over 5 years- and our sister store in Woodbridge for over 34 years- and we have an incredible changing inventory - stuff that is fun to list online include designer purses and shoes, collectible sneakers, electronics, computers, tools, collectibles, coins, currency and a ton of jewelry! Its always something new!

We are looking for someone to work 3pm- 7pm Monday - Friday, as well as Saturdays for a few hours in the morning to ship out stuff and list some ( anywhere from 3 hours to the full day of 8 hours if you want more hours!) We are offering $15 an hour to start - depending on experience- as well as a very generous monthly commission plan. ( as an FYI, if you do eventually become full time, For 35 hours and above of work/ week ( considered full time) , we do offer health, dental and vision after the first 6 months, a 401K plan and earned PTO. We also offer contests and bonuses based on production and a comfortable, casual laid back atmosphere. We do pay weekly ( on Fridays through direct deposit ) and we are looking for a reliable, efficient person to help out our full time eBay lister, as well as help with some social media stuff in the shop!

Responsibilities:

Build product listings, content, images, pricing, inventory, marketing, and advertising campaigns on various marketplaces directly

Map out business rules for different multi-channels

Listing description & content writing according to marketplace eligibility

Effectively maintain and administer a variety of marketplaces

Inventory control and price management

Listing quality checks and enhancements

Catalog and categorize items accurately

Optimize product detail pages for maximum conversion

Monitor and manage inventory levels, forecasting, and replenishment

Report on performance to management and leadership

Providing insights on customer shopping trends to support assortment selection and identify assortment gaps

Maintain and monitor account health and customer feedback in order to achieve high seller ranking

Additional duties as assigned

Experience & Requirements

Must reside in the DMV area- this is NOT a remote job, you must come in to the shop to do this job! I repeat, it is NOT REMOTE!

Minimum of 1-2 years selling on ebay on your own OR hands-on eCommerce experience

Microsoft Office, Outlook, advanced Excel, knowledge preferred

The ability to multi-task, prioritize and successfully meet several deadlines at once while maintaining attention to detail

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrated quick learner, analytical, organized & detail oriented

Retail eCcommerce platforms experience welcomed

some basic knowlege of social media and desire to help post on Facebook/ Instagram / tiktok with the shop's help.
