    HR GENERALIST ECLERX SHARED SERVICES

    LOCATION: New York, NY

    TYPE: Contract to Full Time

    EXPERIENCE: 0-2 Years year experience working in US Benefits, US Immigration and/or HR Compliance or related.

    EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree Preferred

    DEPARTMENT: Shared Services

    DESCRIPTION:

    • Work closely within the HR group and external vendors to ensure program effectiveness for Employee Benefits, Immigration, HR Compliance and general HR operations as required so that company’s programs run efficiently and company policies are adhered to.
    • Understand employees' concerns, investigate issues, determine solution and work with various stakeholder on resolution relating to benefits/immigration and occasionally other areas of HR as needed
    • Perform quarterly audits and reconciliation of data relating to benefits, immigration and payroll.
    • Identify and implement process improvements which will drive compliance, accuracy, and the employee experience

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage the immigration portal. Open new cases, coordinate processing with lawyers, employees, managers and within the HR team, monitor visa timelines, reporting.
    • Manage the benefits portal. Ensure employee data is accurate, troubleshoot system error by working with vendor and internally within HR, reconcile payroll deductions each quarter against benefits elections and perform necessary corrections as needed, benefits reporting.
    • Assist with annual benefits open enrollment process. Collaborate with the HR Operations team on implementation changes that impacts the HRIS and payroll systems.
    • Benefits onboarding and off-boarding for Canada based employees
    • Assist with data and reporting for company insurances like workers compensation, property, liability etc
    • Work closely with the payroll team to communicate changes that impact payroll in a timely manner.
    • Timely invoice processing.
    • Assist with program rollout relating to total rewards, immigration and other HR programs as needed.
    • Coordination of onboarding and off boarding with members of the HR team.

    QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree with 0-2 years of experience in US Benefits, US Immigration and/or HR Compliance or related.
    • Basic knowledge US Benefits including cafeteria plans.
    • Basic knowledge of US immigration specifically relating to US work visa and Green Cards
    • MS Excel- moderate to advance skill.
    • MS Word – basic to moderate skill
    • Good written communication and strong attention to detail
    • Working knowledge of HR tools like Bamboo HR, Paylocity, PlanSource a plus.
