In close partnership with corporations and insurance companies worldwide, we have the fire and growth potential of a start-up with the traction of a company who has had over ten years to build momentum, revenue, and operational scale.

    We are looking for a People & Culture (Human Resources) Intern to join us for a part-time opportunity. In this role you will learn and contribute to company communications, employee compliance, as well as recruitment and onboarding new hires. This is a paid internship with an expected 6 month duration with a possibility of becoming a long-term position. Our headquarters office is in Mt Laurel, but all employees are remote for the remainder of 2020 and you will be supporting teams across multiple states and in Europe.

    The ideal candidate will be eager to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment, and have 2 years corporate experience.  

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    • Process new hires by coordinating with managers and setting up in all systems.
    • Ensure employee compliance: trainings and employee files.
    • Update and review all job descriptions to save in a central repository.
    • Work with IT to build out a company intranet.
    • Draft and prepare company communications.
    • Create US, UK and EU Employee Handbook.
    • Recruitment: Post positions, short-list resumes, learn interview processes, candidate follow-up.
    • Build relationships and communicate proactively with managers, employees, and other stakeholders.
    • Special Projects as assigned or as they become apparent.

     

    WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

    • 2+ years experience in a Corporate environment, preferably with relevant experience to HR. 
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Communications, Business Relations or other relevant field of study.
    • Experience with the MIcrosoft Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; comfortable learning new systems. 
    • A resourceful, problem-solving nature with excellent communication skills.
    • Immediate (or near immediate) availability for a 6-month period.
    • The ability to work and present professionally from a home office.
