                                                                            Construction Cost Analyst

    Our Well established Custom Home Builder client is currently looking for a Cost Analyst

    This position will be responsible for reviewing contracts and  pricing plans for customer options on single family residential homes.   

    Qualified candidate will  Interact with Sales, the Management , Construction, Contractors, Suppliers and Vendors 

    Responsible for maintaining cost management database. Responsibilities •MUST HAVE FULL WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF BLUEPRINTS, RED LINING, AND TAKEOFFS.

    •Working knowledge of complex estimating tasks for projects in various phases of design and construction.

    •Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and unit pricing for custom options requested by customers & Sales department.

    •Review project plans, specifications and requirements and incorporate into custom option cost estimate.

    •Prepare conceptual estimates and interpret outline specifications.

    •Coordinate/review/analyze contractor/vendor bids.

    •Maintain company cost management database (labor and material).

    •Able to Identify cost-saving techniques, materials, and procedures.

    • communicate any cost impact of increases and quantity changes.

    •Perform cost comparison and analysis as requested.

    •Maintain standard & upgrade options and program offerings associated with company ePricebook

     Skills: •Ability to multi-task and work on  multiple projects

    •Knowledge of building materials and industry practices is required.

    •Prepare cost estimates by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data

    •Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Estimating Software, with working knowledge of BIM techniques     

    •Working knowledge & experience with Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD preferred Education and Experience: •3-5 years’ experience in the homebuilding industry, or a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Supply Chain, or Construction Management.  

    •High school diploma is required.
