COMPANY INFORMATION:

eGourmet Solutions, Inc. is a National Logistics and eCommerce Fulfillment company specializing in frozen, refrigerated and dry perishable goods.  We're looking for an Inventory Controller with 5 years of warehouse inventory experience, with 1+ years of supervisory responsibilities and advanced Excel skills using pivot tables and vlookups.  This position reports to the COO.   

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is in charge of ensuring inventory data is accurate and timely, and inventory SOP's are followed.  The Inventory Controller will be the primary point of contact for clients with all inventory-related questions.

The position is 85% office and 15% warehouse (freezer/cooler).  You will be asked to occasionally verify certain counts, audit processes or actively supervise receiving, cycle counts, etc.

• Train clients on inventory management in our system
• Respond to client inquiries regarding inventory concerns
• Review, investigate, reconcile and update cycle counts
• Create and/or change inventory locations
• Advise on warehouse organization and assign pick locations in a logical manner
• Develop, audit and enforce inventory SOP's across all warehouses

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 5 years’ experience with warehouse inventory
• 1+ year(s) of supervisory experience
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced Excel skills (vlook ups, pivot tables, etc.)
• Positive attitude/Lead by example
• Detail-oriented
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a freezer at -5 degrees F when necessary
• Ability to follow through and proactively anticipate issues
• Ability to exercise good judgment in a rapid-paced environment
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize

• Ability to count accurately and quickly
• Ability to notice the minute details that differentiate products from each other
