We are seeking a Data Analyst/Report Writer for a 7 month contract assignment working remotely from anywhere in Texas on a project for our Austin, Texas client. This position will do data analysis work related to organizing and mapping data from one or more systems in a logical manner to allow for ease of reporting within our client’s Financial Systems and Power BI environments. This work will be executed in partnership with a dedicated team tasked with providing BusinessObjects (BOBJ) reports within our client’s Financial Systems and Power BI reports that provide information from both financial data sets, as well as migrating reports from Web Focus to Power BI.

Yrs Experience
8 Demonstrated experience with Peoplesoft Financials Reporting (Peoplesoft 9.2 FSCM Modules including GL/KK, AM, PO, eProcurement). This shall include a detailed understanding of CAPPS Financials data as provided by the Texas Comptroller’s Office (CPA)
8 Demonstrated experience in gathering requirements from agency staff, translating requirements into report writing tasks, understanding, and documenting business processes tied to the reports.
8 Demonstrated experience in the development and tuning of complex SQL scripts, stored procedures, and package development in large scale database projects to provide view objects for reports.
8 Demonstrated experience querying SQL Server or Oracle databases.
8 Demonstrated experience mapping relational fields between two or more data sets to create reports of joined data.
8 Demonstrated experience working as a member of an agile scrum team, utilizing scrum methodologies and meeting framework.
Preferred
4 Demonstrated experience developing and publishing complex Power BI reports using SQL Server data.
4 Demonstrated experience migrating data between reporting frameworks.
4 Proficient with the Microsoft O365 products, including Microsoft Azure DevOps, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
4 Knowledge of the common design practices / standards / technologies associated with application accessibility (e.g., WCAG, ADA, Section 508)
