Job Description
As Workforce Development Specialist you will be responsible for creating a training program that empowers our fantastic team of cleaning technicians to maintain our very high standard of cleaning service. You will also be tasked with keeping our team engaged and striving to hit our business goals, but more importantly their individual financial goals. You will work seamlessly with our director of operations to hire, train and retain the top cleaning talent. As needed, you will build relationships with clients as you ensure they receive the quality of service they expect and deserve.
You are a proactive leader and self-starter who can interact with the public and our employees. You have a strong work ethic and are able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines. You have at least three years of supervisory experience, as well as proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers. Ideally, cleaning experience and an extreme attention to detail.
Specific Responsibilities:
Create and execute a training program
Maintain and expand upon employee engagement programs
Keep open the lines of communication between the customer, teams and the office
Observe and evaluate workers' performance to ensure quality service and compliance with specifications
Determine staffing requirements, and participates in the recruiting efforts
Assist with routing and daily dispatch duties
Improves upon current processes to ensure quality, profitability, and future growth
Job Requirements:
At least 3 years of management experience
Strong leadership aptitude
Self-motivated and ability to work both in a team and independently
Ability to drive revenue through customer service and team building
Ability to cultivate strong customer relationships and employee loyalty through strong interpersonal skills
Flexible interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively throughout all levels of the organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Computer proficiency, with working knowledge of word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications, minor technical troubleshooting (or coordinate with vendor)
