We are working with a manufacturing company in Hartford that is looking for a Human Resource Recruiter for a contract role.

The ideal candidate is someone that is eager to support the talent acquisition process to develop a skilled manufacturing workforce.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, implement, maintain, and enhance talent recruiting strategies, programs, tools, and processes

• Assist with job posting and advertisement processes

• Screen applications and select qualified candidates for interview with the hiring manager

• Conduct needs assessments around talent management and recommended solutions

• Support the employee experience from onboarding through succession planning

• Prepare reports and provide analysis on human capital metrics (ex: time-to-fill, time-to-hire, and source of hire)

• Perform various administrative tasks such as managing internal employee database, processing new hire paperwork, preparing job offer letters, filing, business communications, and other duties

• Attend college job fairs and recruiting events

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management, Organizational Development, or related field from a four-year college or university

• 2-5 years of high-volume recruiting experience

• Human resources experience in a manufacturing environment

• A broad knowledge of general manufacturing practices
