We are working with a manufacturing company in Hartford that is looking for a Human Resource Recruiter for a contract role.
The ideal candidate is someone that is eager to support the talent acquisition process to develop a skilled manufacturing workforce.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, implement, maintain, and enhance talent recruiting strategies, programs, tools, and processes
Assist with job posting and advertisement processes
Screen applications and select qualified candidates for interview with the hiring manager
Conduct needs assessments around talent management and recommended solutions
Support the employee experience from onboarding through succession planning
Prepare reports and provide analysis on human capital metrics (ex: time-to-fill, time-to-hire, and source of hire)
Perform various administrative tasks such as managing internal employee database, processing new hire paperwork, preparing job offer letters, filing, business communications, and other duties
Attend college job fairs and recruiting events
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management, Organizational Development, or related field from a four-year college or university
2-5 years of high-volume recruiting experience
Human resources experience in a manufacturing environment
A broad knowledge of general manufacturing practices
