The Spa Coordinator/Client Services is a leadership role responsible for helping ensure a memorable experience for our wonderful clients and coworkers by embracing the Escape Wellness Spa mission. The focus of this position is to help the spa run smoothly and increase revenue by promoting retail and services through cross-promoting, keeping spa clean, organized and ordering inventory.
Pay is based on experience and includes opportunity for advancement based on performance and additional proven talents (business promotion, marketing, social media, management skills, etc). Additional commission and gratuity for FIT bodywrap services available. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9a-7p, Saturday & Sunday 8a-5:30p. Part-time/Full-time position available, must be available on evenings and weekends.
Position responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Coordinating:
Create and coordinate a welcome reception for all clients
Possess a consistent and positive attitude toward the spa clients and work environment with a “make it happen” attitude by offering alternatives rather than simply saying no to clients and staff to enable the company to operate at peak effectiveness and efficiency
Provide honest and respectful communication to all employees and assist as needed to ensure smooth spa flow
Maintain control of the point of sale area and follow established procedures for cash drawer and computer terminal operations
Provide front desk duties and complete daily checklist
Keep retail area maintained and merchandised to effectively maximize retail sales
Assist clients with FIT Bodywrap service, disinfect and prepare room for next service
Support the staff and daily operations
Provide detailed descriptions of spa services, upgrades and answering spa related questions
Strive to maximize clients’ experience by cross-promoting services and offering service upgrades and retail
Assist with daily operations including inventory, marketing, social media, and goal setting/monitoring
Collaborate with owner to set and drive retail/service sales goals
Attend and assist with content for employee meetings
Assist with interviewing, hiring and training new staff
Provide personal assistant functions as necessary for owner
Ensure values are maintained in the spa at all times
Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized spa environment

Preferred candidates will have experience with:
2 years of Service/ Retail Industry Experience (salon or spa a plus)
