The Director of Growth Marketing will spearhead eyebobs’ growth and acquisition initiatives in paid, owned, and earned spaces. They will be responsible for planning and executing strategies that increase the awareness of eyebobs and drive business growth opportunities. The successful Director will be a highly analytical and results-oriented marketer, with a proven track record of scaling new and existing channels to drive sustainable, long-term growth, and a premium brand position. A key member of our Marketing Leadership Team, this position is responsible for campaign strategy, execution, and optimization, while closely monitoring key performance metrics (LTV (Lifetime Value), CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost), payback period, and KPI’s). In partnership with the VP of Marketing and Director Ecommerce, the Director of Growth Marketing will develop and lead marketing efforts to support eyebobs’ overall vision and strategy.

This position can be hybrid or fully remote with travel to Minneapolis Headquarters approximately 4-7 times per year.
Channel Strategy and Execution
Responsible for development and implementation of comprehensive growth strategies for current marketing channels including SEM, paid social, SEO, display, affiliate and direct mail to drive targeted traffic, customer engagement, and conversions.
Identify and experiment with new and emerging channels to diversify customer acquisition sources and maximize reach.
Effectively balance the mix of acquisition, remarketing and retention efforts in each channel to maximize new customer and repeat purchase sales objectives.
Leverage and direct agency marketing partners and determine gaps or upgrading needed to support future growth, align efforts and ensure consistent brand messaging across channels.
Collaborate with the Marketing VP to build marketing calendar for ecommerce that aligns/compliments both retail and wholesale calendars, and make tactical plans to execute.
Drive results towards the financial forecast, including key events in partnership with the product team and leadership.
Be customer obsessed to drive customer loyalty and retention. Monitor and analyze customer lifecycle, and identify and evaluate new opportunities and platforms to expand customer acquisition efforts to drive growth.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, digital marketing best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization
Analyze campaign performance data to continually optimize campaigns to achieve new customer acquisition and sales goals.
Utilize A/B testing and other experimentation methodologies to improve conversion rates and overall campaign effectiveness.
Metrics and Financial Analysis
Develop a deep understanding of customer acquisition economics, including LTV, CAC, payback period, and other relevant financial metrics.
Manage data analytics for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, and utilize insights to identify new opportunities to improve tactical performance.
Regularly report on key metrics and insights to the leadership team, providing actionable recommendations for growth and improvement.
Make data-driven decisions to proactively manage budget across channels based on their performance and contribution to overall business and brand goals.
Forecast and track budget expenditures, ensuring alignment with KPI targets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Product Team to align marketing efforts with product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
Collaborate with Marketing Creative and Brand to develop compelling ad creatives and landing pages that resonate with the target audience.
Partner with Ecommerce to align sales strategies and objectives.
Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field
7 or more years of digital marketing experience, with a focus on SEM, paid social, and SEO at a consumer lifestyle brand
3 or more years of leadership/management experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience effectively managing $1M+ digital marketing spend
Adept at understanding and managing all aspects SEO – strategy to content and technical
Strong understanding of financial metrics such as LTV, CAC, and payback period
Proficiency in analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, and SEO tools
Experience in direct mail and/or catalog
Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Proven ability to make presentations to leadership and stakeholders
