General Summary of Job: As a Pet Care Attendant, you are responsible for the supervision, control, and management of daycare dogs and ensuring the safety of the playgroup. The Attendant may also be assigned care of other animals lodging at the facility. Additionally, the attendant is responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of the playrooms and other areas of the facility as assigned. The Pet Care Attendant works under the supervision of the Pet Care Lead and reports to the Pet Care Supervisor.
Primary Duties:
Dog Management: *Interact with dogs in playgroups using appropriate toys and tools to ensure safe levels of play and minimize the stress levels of all dogs in the playgroup. *Maintain visual observation of dogs at all times and spread attention and play among all dogs in the playgroup. *Control level of play by following dog management and control procedures and instructions provided by the Leadership. *Use proper dog handling techniques, including using kennel leads to transfer dogs. *Complete cleaning duties as assigned and indicate proper completion by signing the Monthly Cleaning Checklist. *Maintenance of potty areas per procedures. d. Report supplies needed to the Coordinator before running entirely out of item
Vigilance and Reporting: Watch and accurately report on all new dogs, immediately passing vital information to the Coordinator or management. Report any unusual behavior, eliminations, or injuries for all dogs in the playgroup.
Professionalism: Maintain a professional demeanor at all times, serving as a role model for the team. Follow proper procedures, uphold our standards, and maintain a positive attitude.
Responsibility: Be ready to open or close the company facility as needed and requested by management, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.
Team Player: Be prepared to take on other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of our facility and the well-being of our furry guests.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Proven reliability and a history of dedication to your work.
Leadership skills and a desire to mentor and guide new employees.
Flexibility to perform various roles within the facility.
