    The Development team at The Seminar Network seeks a Director of Member Relations to join its team. A Director of Member Relations will work within a fast-paced and collaborative fundraising team to grow a portfolio of long-term supporters to further the Network’s mission.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of donors and prospects, using “Moves Management” techniques, to support The Seminar Network’s efforts to advance a free and open society.
    • Collaborate with the internal communications and marketing team to create and execute personalized communications and engagement plans for each donor and prospect.
    • Leverage existing events to recruit new prospects and retain current partners.
    • Utilize subject matter experts and organizational representatives to further relationships with supporters and prospects.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or relevant years of work experience required.
    • 7+ years’ experience in a professional environment is required.
    • Past experience in major gift fundraising and a familiarity with concepts of Moves Management preferred.
    • A passion for and commitment to free-market principles.
    • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, and high degree of discretion.
    • Ability to travel up to 50% within the United States.
    • Computer literacy, including MS Office; proficiency with donor databases, such as Salesforce.
