    The Seminar Network is seeking a Manager of Member Relations to join their growing development team. This role will be member and donor-facing, and will be responsible for cultivating long-term relationships, through personal communications and strategic planning.

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Oversee relationship with donors and prospective donors, including soliciting donations; be the first point of contact for new donors in the state.
    • Work with Development Associate to systematically gather and track donor data.
    • Connect donors with Network donor communications, event invitations, and engagement opportunities.
    • Work with State Directors and staff to promote state and national projects using an in-depth knowledge of state and national operations.
    • Assist with major donor events and national events as needed.
    • Build, cultivate, and grow a portfolio of long-term relationships utilizing “Moves Management” techniques.
    • Handle all personal administration (logistics and travel arrangements) for donor meetings.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
    • Five years’ professional experience required; could include but not limited to fundraising, business development, high-end sales, or external relations.
    • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM tools helpful, but not required.
    • Strong phone, email, and inter-personal skills required.
    • Ability and willingness to aggressively travel within state, ideally based within posted state and occasional travel to Arlington, VA.
    • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, environment.
