    The Seminar Network is seeking a Director of Donor Relations and Stewardship to join its team. This role will be externally-facing, and will be responsible for building lifelong relationships with our donors, ensuring that we are their philanthropic partner of choice.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the implementation of a comprehensive Donor Relations and Stewardship program that appropriately recognizes donors
    • Strategically partner with development team to determine the best strategies for individualized donor stewardship plans utilizing consistent, accurate, and appropriate information-sharing mechanisms
    • Serve as additional contact for donors, helping to resolve problems, questions, special needs, and concerns in a timely manner
    • Create, institutionalize, and enroll donors in Donor Clubs
    • Create, implement and coordinate a systematic gift acceptance, donor acknowledgment, and donor recognition plan to support and expand donor relationships
    • Manage information tracking processes regarding acknowledgement, recognition, on-going cultivation and continued solicitation of major donors to enhance the relationship
    • Develop and assess policies and procedures that are essential for stewardship communications
    • Work collaboratively with the development team to compile appropriate invitation lists, compose letters or invites, engage feature program participants, provide program materials, prepare program scripts and participant remarks, and create opportunities for donor engagement and recognition
    • Coordinate stewardship reports to educate, engage, inspire and thank our donors for their generosity

     

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or relevant years of work experience required
    • 7+ years’ experience in a professional environment is required
    • Past experience in major gift fundraising (working with high-dollar donors) and a familiarity with concepts of Moves Management is preferred
    • A passion and commitment to free-market principles
    • Ability to prioritize, and advanced skills in strategic planning and coordination
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills, and high degree of discretion and confidentiality
    • Ability to travel up to 25%
    • Computer proficiency, including MS Office
    • Demonstrated evidence of leadership ability or entrepreneurial behavior
    • Humility, integrity, passion, motivation, and a self-starter attitude
