Job Description:
General Mortgage Capital Corporation (GMCC) is seeking a passionate and self-driven Account Executive (AE) with prior experience in the Third-Party Origination (TPO) space. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with mortgage loan officers within their assigned sales territory, driving business growth, and ensuring a thorough understanding of our products, programs, as well as pricing for consistently growing loan production.
Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain relationships with mortgage loan officers within your assigned territory.
Develop your own new business leads.
Be a subject matter expert on all loan products offered by the company.
Train mortgage loan officers on loan packaging and submission requirements to ensure efficient processing.
Handle all pre-submission and pricing-related questions from relevant mortgage loan officers
Make sales presentations to new and existing mortgage loan officers on the company's products, pricing, and services.
Be knowledgeable in the rate lock process and requirements.
Collaborate closely with other internal teams to ensure efficient communication and problem resolution for related loans in the pipeline.
Conduct regular meetings, both in person and by phone, with mortgage Loan officers within your account.
Required Qualifications:
Previous experience as an AE in the TPO space
In-depth knowledge of loan products, underwriting requirements, and the rate lock process.
Strong sales presentation and marketing skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and remotely while maintaining high productivity.
Ability to collaborate and effectively communicate with our internal teams.
Passion and self-drive to develop and grow the business.
Solid understanding of rate sheets and market pricing for loan products
Nice to Have Qualifications:
BS in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field.
1 to 2 or more years of experience in mortgage lending.
Self-driven motivation to find and source your own leads with company origination resources
