    Job DescriptionDirector of Product Management

    The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for the product planning and execution, including but not limited to assessing customer needs, analyzing cybersecurity market trends and acting on the user’s behalf to prioritize product requirements. The product manager has to serve as the contextual expert and define the product vision, working collaboratively with engineering, sales and marketing to ensure the company achieves revenue and customer satisfaction goals.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Must have direct or indirect experience with MSP/MSSP/RMM markets and develop business case and GTM strategy, product requirements for products in this market.
    • Desired to have experience building public cloud and SaaS services and MSP/MSSP/channel.
    • Experience working with product management and engineering to build the right data services to provide the required value for enterprises moving to the cloud.
    • Built a new line of revenue GTM strategy and team focused on public cloud and SaaS services.
    • Demonstrate sound knowledge of the malware protection and Antivirus industry in terms of buyers, partners, vendors and trends.
    • Own the product roadmap including feature definition and prioritization for assigned products.
    • Author Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) with required and desired features sets based on market research and input via user feedback, sales input and credible industry sources.
    • Create and deliver business cases for new product proposals that include:

     

    • Market sizing

     

    • User problem definition

     

    • User and buyer personas

     

    • Competitive Analysis

     

    • UX and product flow

     

    • Sales, distribution and channel strategy

     

    • Facilitate partnerships and licensing opportunities to meet market demands and product strategy.
    • Be a subject matter expert with respect to the industry and the competition.
    • Deliver quarterly updates regarding assigned products’ functionality versus the competition.

     

    • Quantify the big picture thinking in terms of emerging industry trends.

     

    • Deeply understand customer workflows and discover unarticulated customer needs.
    • Translate customer needs into user stories for use by the engineering team.

    Requirements:

    • 7+ years of software industry experience with 4 years being in cybersecurity or incident response segment.
    • 2+ experience in Product Management in the AV space.
    • 2+ years of real experience in agile product development methodology (Scrum, Kanban or Lean startup).
    • Understands modern malware exploit technologies and their defenses.
    • Ability to write PRDs clearly with very strong writing skills overall.
    • Communicate with product stakeholders, prospects and customers. Clearly describe complex technical problems in non-technical terms.
    • Knowledge of basic operating systems, network function and architecture.
    • Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of experience.
    • Must be willing to travel up to 30%

    Desired:

    • Product and/or technology strategy experience. 
    • MBA degree is a plus.
