The UI Engineer will build intuitive user interfaces on the VIPRE cloud security platform to help security and IT administrators configure and protect their environments effectively.  This involves participating in all stages of the product development and deployment lifecycle - collaborating closely with designers and backend engineer to implement responsive user interfaces for web–based and mobile applications with concise code and tests.

Responsibilities: 

• Build new features, flows, and experiences
• Providing input on the design of data APIs
• Solve interesting design problems, working with designers and customers
• Rapidly prototype user experiences for usability testing

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of professional web development experience with Javascript
• Extensive experience with AngularJS
• Experience with Angular 2
• Experience working with Bootstrap framework
• Experience creating UIs based on both wireframes and detailed mockups
• Firsthand experience designing responsive user interfaces
• Mastery of HTML5, CSS and JavaScript to create a highly interactive fluid data visualizations that leverage RESTful and streaming API-s
• Experience building high-performance JavaScript applications

Nice to Have:

• Experience with data visualization JS libraries, such as HighCharts or d3.
• Experience with SASS.
• Experience creating mobile first, responsive UIs.
• Experience with Bootstrap 4 and flexbox model.
• Experience working with a REST Based API
• Comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment using agile methodology
• Experience with electron for building cross-platform apps

Education and/or Certification Requirements:

• BA/BS in CS or related field, or equivalent experience
