LOCATION: ON-SITE in Columbus, OH
SHIFT: MONDAY-FRIDAY 11am-7pm SATURDAY rotating (1 per month)
ABOUT THE PATIENT CARE TEAM
At Gifthealth, the patient is at the core of everything we do. Our patient care team is responsible for providing first-in-class service and support to our patients, providers, and pharmacies. As a member of this team, you will work externally with all of these partners and internally with our sales, marketing, and operations teams as you develop a key understanding of the Voice of the Customer.
HOW YOU'LL HELP US IMPROVE HEALTHCARE:
- Provide timely and accurate responses to customer queries via phone, email or chat
- When necessary, successfully triage issues to the correct internal team
- Work closely with providers to manage refill requests, prior authorizations, and coverage determinations
- Troubleshoot prescriptions by engaging directly with providers, patients, and insurance companies as needed
- Gather customer feedback and technical issues and share with our Product, Sales, and Marketing teams
- Help customers navigate product features based on their needs
- Identify customers' needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives
- Go the extra mile to engage customers and build sustainable relationships
- Document detailed records of all customer assistance conversations
A FEW THINGS ABOUT YOU:
- Previous experience in a customer support, service, or success role, healthcare and/or high growth startup preferred (2+ years)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills along with active listening
- A strong sense of patience and a friendly disposition while communicating with a variety of personality types
- A skilled multi-tasker who can set priorities and manage time effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye towards improving processes
- Be highly comfortable in making decisions when all information isn't available
- BA/BS or similar work experience is preferred
- CPhT is preferred, but we can also facilitate getting this certification
