    goTenna is foundationally disrupting the +$50B global Mesh Networking industry with communication solutions 40x more cost-effective, 12x lighter, 10x smaller and 6x longer-lasting than anything else on the market.

    We are seeking a qualified intern to join the Supply Chain & Operations team to support in shipping, inventory management, retail and B2B/B2G order fulfillment, import/export compliance, and sales operations.

    As goTenna expands the reach of both its customer base and product lines, this role will work with the SC & Ops team on strategic process building around inventory management and order fulfillment. This role requires a fine-tuned eye for detail, a solutions-oriented mindset, the ability to think critically, and a knack for solving problems on the fly in a fast-paced startup environment.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Communicating and coordinating with freight carriers to schedule pickups/shipments, creating and organizing shipping labels, bills of lading, commercial invoices and other documentation, and effectively addressing customs clearance issues
    • Compiling weekly sell-through data from channel partners
    • Utilizing our 3PL's UI to generate inventory and transaction reports
    • Efficiently fulfilling individual customer purchase orders and wholesale orders to retail partners through our 3PL
    • Handling and assembling occasional shipments from our Brooklyn HQ
    • Assisting with and facilitating monthly inventory cycle counts for items housed at both 3PL and Brooklyn HQ
    • Supporting sales and marketing teams as needed with product samples and shipments
    • Creating and tracking purchase orders for vendors and contract manufacturers

    Required qualifications & experience:

    • Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and efficient manner
    • Self-motivated and willing to work in a fast-past environment while learning new things
    • Ability to lift 30 lbs

    It'd be awesome if you had:

    • Experience utilizing carriers (FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc) for parcel and/or freight service
    • Inventory management experience
    • An interest in telecommunications and decentralized networks
    • An affinity for people who like telling jokes, sharing funny links, doing cool stuff outside work, and being creative about team-building (e.g. survival skills training, murder mystery dinner theater, shuffleboard tournament, Mafia/Werewolf).
    • Love for goTenna and our mission to build a distributed communication network from the ground-up!

    This is a paid, part-time internship (15-20 hours/week) based in Brooklyn, NY, reporting to the Operations Analyst.
