ABOUT THE ROLE
goTenna is seeking a QA engineer interested in performing manual and automated tests on goTenna Software and Hardware products. We work in a collaborative setting, partnering with the QA team as well as the Software, Firmware, Hardware, and Product teams. This is an opportunity to optimize testing processes and support product improvements based on customer feedback. Our team operates in an Agile test environment and this role will include product field testing.
KEY ACTIVITIES
- Write clear and concise test plans and test cases
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Appium
- Use TestRail to track and organize test runs and development efforts
- Participate in UAT, Performance Testing, Regression Testing, and Smoke Testing
- Identify opportunities for improved test automation and participate in test driven development activities with internal team
- Set up and configure test environments
- Identify, record, document, and track software bugs in Pivotal Tracker.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
- Testing experience on Android, iOS, and Web based applications
- Experience with Selenium and Appium
- Experience in Python, Java, and C++
- Familiarity with debug tools such as ADB, XCode logs and Postman
- Familiarity with SDLC
- Excellent troubleshooting ability and attention to detail
- Team Player and Collaborative mindset

- Experience with Hardware and Device Testing
- Experience with Linux and networking
- RF or Telecommunications experience
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment
- Experience in AWS or virtualized environments
- Security and Pen Testing Experience
- Familiarity in Web or Mobile Application Development (Java, Kotlin, Swift)
- Experience working in a technology startup environment
