As we are expanding our US-based team, we are looking for a high-performing business development manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets, keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those plans to the upper management.
Responsibilities
Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and strengthen its presence
Ability to define criteria to target prospects
Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships, understanding their needs, create a positive customer experience
Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
Achieve growth and hit sales targets successfully across specific geographic areas
Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
Develop distribution, reseller networks, user base from scratch
Promotes a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and teamwork
Develop new partnerships and support existing ones
Skills
Bachelor or Masters degree in business administration or a related field
Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets in a B2B and/or B2C environment in the residential and/or commercial sectors
An empathetic, enthusiastic, and amazing communicator with superstar interpersonal skills and keen emotional intelligence
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
Strong business sense and industry expertise
Able to operate effectively with uncertainty and change in a fast-paced environment
Proactive, rigorous, autonomous, curious, highly organized, with a “can-do” attitude
Willingness to learn about a new product
Passion for creating something from nothing
Requirements:
Ability to work and reside legally and permanently in the US (no visa sponsorship)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Background in the construction and lumber industry preferred
Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets in a B2B and/or B2C environment in the residential and commercial sectors
Experience calling on contractors, distributors, building material suppliers
