Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook authentic Mexican dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times

Follow food safety and handling guidelines to ensure quality and freshness

Assist with food prep including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients

Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service during peak hours

Monitor food inventory and communicate supply needs to kitchen management

Adapt quickly to high-volume orders while maintaining food quality and consistency

Requirements:

Previous experience as a cook, line cook, or prep cook preferred

Knowledge of Mexican cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques is a plus

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Food Handler's Card or ServSafe certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering consistent quality
