About the Role:

Helping Hands Home Healthcare Agency in Bellefontaine, OH is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to join our caring team. Responsibilities:

Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting

Monitor and record patient health status, vital signs, and changes in condition

Provide medication reminders and assist with prescribed exercises or therapy routines

Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed

Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean home environment

Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families

Transport or accompany clients to medical appointments and errands

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred

Current Home Health Aide (HHA) certification or willingness to obtain one

Previous experience in home care, personal care, or a related healthcare setting preferred

CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic, and compassionate demeanor

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
