    What you’ll do:
    Bring your strategic thinking, and tactical implementation abilities to bear supporting HR team efforts as well as the overall Hornall Anderson organization

    • Assist with all aspects of HR for Hornall Anderson, providing support for many programs including benefits, payroll, recruiting, performance management, office management support, and general administration
    • Act as a contact and resource for benefits-related questions, information sharing, and problem solving as needed
    • Participate in overall recruiting and new employee onboarding efforts
    • Update and maintain employee database; work with HR Director and Accounting to ensure timely and accurate payroll submission, processing, and problem resolution of employee transactions
    • Schedule and coordinate meetings, candidate interviews, trainings, employee reviews and other activities as needed
    • Provide support to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations
    Abilities & Experience:
    Here’s what we think it will take to do this job:
    • HR background strongly preferred; experience with HRIS/CMS a plus
    • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to interact with co-workers, guests, and senior management
    • Strong detail orientation and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and multi-task
    • Exceptional professionalism and discretion; good judgment, maturity and reliability
    • Strong customer service orientation
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
    • Ability to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team
    • Knowledge of HR principles and familiarity with applicable employment laws and regulations is a plus
    • Computer skills in MS Office: Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Ability to work in fast paced environment; flexibility to stay late on occasion
