    PBCB is a psychotherapy practice that specializes in mental health therapy services/behavioral health with adults and we provide office and telehealth based services to adults in all of Palm Beach County. Therapist must have a minimum of a Master's degree, and be willing to see clients on a weekly basis. The position is for a minimum of 20-30 hours per week and as an Independent Contractor.

    Caseload will gradually increase.

    Requirements: Current Licensure in the state of Florida, Registered Intern maybe considered if close to licensure, Master’s Degree Mental Health Counseling, Social Work or Marriage & Family Therapy (or related Human Service degree) from an accredited university or college; minimum of 1-2 years’ experience working with adults. Registered Intern with the State of Florida / or LMHC, LCSW, LMFT. Must be able work a flexible schedule.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for patients with mental health disorders
    • Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
    • Provide behavior management and counseling services to patients
    • Address gender issues and provide counseling specific to gender-related concerns
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as social workers and psychiatrists, to ensure comprehensive patient care
    • Utilize evidence-based therapies to treat patients with PTSD and other trauma-related disorders
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with ICD-10 coding standards
    • Provide counseling services to pediatric patients in a hospital setting

    Requirements:

    • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
    • Valid state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist
    • Proven experience in providing therapy and counseling services, preferably in a clinical setting
    • Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and techniques
    • Familiarity with ICD-10 coding system for accurate documentation
    • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and age groups
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
