Our client is looking for a General Contracting / Referral Partner:

The General Contractor will be acting as project manager and an owner’s representative during construction of new residential kitchen construction and home remodels. The General Contractor firm must have extensive experience in single family home production, custom home development, home remodeling projects, with a verifiable work experience history. Needs to have 5-10 years of experience in home construction and remodeling projects. We currently have projects underway that demand the highest quality and knowledge. Computer savvy and have excellent hands on ability. Be able read and interpret plans and drawings. An independent thinker that can get the job done efficiently and know when to ask for assistance.  The General Contractor will oversee Kitchen Cabinet Measure Technicians, Installers and Assemblers.

THE GC SHOULD FLEXIBLE AND COMPETENT IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:

Project management, retain and manage subcontractors, building engineers, vendors/suppliers, architects work product

Excellent communications skills - able to listen to clients' needs and communicate direction to others

Good cost management skills

Negotiate subcontracts and change orders as needed

Track and monitor construction schedule and progress

SKILLS:

5 – 10 years of experience in single family home production and the spec. custom home construction industry

General knowledge of various construction trades

Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication

Team player 

Proficient in construction management software programs

Kitchen Installation specialization preferred

Physical ability to lift/handle materials 

Must have own vehicle

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Licensed contractor with applicable and verifiable insurance coverages

Preference will be given to those with construction related degrees. Although preferred, not required.

Must have a verifiable work experience record to be considered

EXPERIENCE:

Construction superintendent: 5 years (Required)

Residential construction: 5 years (Required)
