A local company in the Denver Tech Center area has an immediate opening for a FT Payroll & HR Practitioner with an emphasis on payroll responsiblities .  This position will begin as a contract position with possibility for a permanent role.  

A minimum of 1-2 years as a junior HR Generalist with payroll experience is requested.  Significant experience working with PAYLOCITY is preferred, however experience with other payroll tools will be considered as well.

Performs tasks to establish and maintain employee/payroll records. Duties may include checking and auditing timekeeping records for compliance with established standards, maintaining time and attendance records, entering new hires into the payroll system, posting changes in pay and tax status, and miscellaneous changes. 

Performs all activities necessary to process 1 or more payrolls, including maintaining related records, filing tax reports and voluntary deduction reports, processing involuntary deductions such as levies and garnishments, preparing accounting transactions and documents, documenting and updating procedures, and preparing special reports for management. 

This position will also perform a variety of HR Generalist functions including recruitment and HR administration duties.

Position can start immediately.
