This position is for i2M’s venture company, Senzit, a company with the mission to improve efficiencies across heavy duty vehicles by seamlessly collecting and transforming data into actionable insights for our customers through advanced digital technologies.

    We are seeking a Product Development Intern to contribute to the team’s success by helping build and innovate our product portfolio.     Engineering Intern

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Support Engineering team with various product and production line needs (i.e., developing and building new production lines, product development (prototype, MVP, and commercialization), or installation of IoT products).

    • Research and prototype standalone product testing materials for heavy duty and industrial automotive applications (wiring harness, ECU, CAN bus, sensors, and various attachments).

    • Support with documentation creation to highlight findings, lessons learned, and best practices.

    • Ensure success of customer deployments by monitoring installations and devices while collecting feedback

    YOUR PROFILE:

    • Interest in developing a career in product innovation.

    • Currently enrolled in a college program with a major in an engineering or science related field.

    • Positive attitude and highly motivated to reach/exceed goals.

    • Familiarity with one or more of: 3D modeling, 3D printing, logging and decoding CAN bus data is a plus.

    • Hunter mentality, self-starter, action oriented, tinkerer.

    • Highly coachable, eager to learn and grow their career.

    • Strong organization and planning skills, strong in follow through.

    • Time Commitment:

    • 10 to 30 hours per week during regular business hours, minimum 1 term (3 month) commitment, but multiple terms preferred.

    • Compensation: $15.00 per hour

    • Start: Immediately
