Data Engineering Intern

STREAMETRIC is an internal start-up within MANN+HUMMEL. Our mission is to help professionals in the water and wastewater industry to be more successful by converting their data into executable insights, enabling them to improve the reliability and efficiency of their operations. This is an opportunity for you to join a new, agile team and play a key role in developing an IoT solution for an industry leader.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Develop ETL pipelines to enable faster automated execution of our AI models

· Expand and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS cloud infrastructure

· Setup, maintain and supervise cloud infrastructure

· Maintain and improve AWS cloud infrastructure of data science environments

· Support data scientists in developing MVPs and prototypes for customer feedback

· Support automation of testing

· Collaborate with other team members in an agile work environment

· Prepare documentation

REQUIREMENTS:

· Pursuing bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science or a related discipline

· Experience with Amazon AWS development environments

· Experience building ETL pipelines.

· knowledge of programming languages JavaScript, python

· High flexibility, agile mindset, customer driven and results oriented

· Ability to work in an autonomous and cross-functional team

Time Commitment:

10-29 hours per week during regular business hours, minimum one term (3 month) commitment, but multiple terms preferred.
