    Job Description

    This project is in support of Program Management activities (program and technical support) required for the client to be successful in the effort to transition (pre-implementation/ implementation /migration /operation) from current systems (financial/asset management/procurement) to new modernized solutions. ERP system will be SAP.

    We are seeking an accomplished SAP Database Administrator (DBA) to play a critical role in a data conversion and migration from a legacy system to SAP Federal Financials. As the SAP DBA, you will have expert knowledge of SAP Basis and cloud infrastructure architecture, along with a proven track record of installing and managing SAP systems, including S/4HANA, SRM, PO, BW/4HANA, Data Service, and BOBJ.

    Responsibilities:

    · Lead the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP S/4HANA, SRM, PO, BW/4HANA, Data Service, and BOBJ systems.

    · Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of SAP systems to ensure seamless operation and minimal downtime.

    · Perform system upgrades, patches, and enhancements while ensuring compatibility and stability across the environment.

    · Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members and stakeholders on SAP Basis best practices, performance tuning, and system security.

    · Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies to safeguard critical SAP data.

    · Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing to ensure business continuity.

    · Collaborate with the infrastructure team to architect, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure components to support SAP environments.

    · Assist with the cloning of development, data conversion, testing and training instances to support the implementation.

    · Develop and maintain documentation related to SAP system configurations, installation procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 10 years of supporting SAP Basis as an SAP DBA.
    • Expert knowledge of SAP Basis administration, including system installation, configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
    • Proven experience installing and managing SAP systems such as S/4HANA, SRM, PO, BW/4HANA, Data Service, and BOBJ.
    • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure architecture
    • Solid understanding of SAP security concepts and best practices.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
