Job Summary The Franchise Business Coach position works to Help Kids Succeed in Life Through Sports by being hands-on in providing on-going guidance to i9 Sports franchisees. The main goal of this position is to drive individual franchise unit success and profitability through tailored 1-on-1 coaching of designated franchisees (ADs). This guidance includes but is not limited to business operations and management, marketing, customer service, game day management, staffing, financial management, and utilizing tools/processes for scale. This position also plays a vital role in training and education programs as well as the continual improvement of the brand’s operating processes.
The position is Full Time and located in Tampa, Florida at our Franchisor home office location. This role is a hybrid role, providing flexibility for the position to work away from the office 2-3 days a week. The position reports directly to the Director of Franchise Business Coaching and is part of the Operations Department at i9 Sports.
Responsibilities
Build respect, rapport, and trust with assigned ADs to help them achieve their goals.
Assist franchisees in goal setting, understanding unit economics, and developing business plans with specific tactics & measures for their success.
Serve ADs as a subject matter expert in applying the i9 Sports philosophy/culture, “Formula for Success”, and Operations Manual best practices.
Grow assigned ADs to meet annual company target by coaching for measured results and adhering to prescribed AD call frequency.
Ensure a high quality i9 Sports Experience is executed consistently at the field by closely monitoring service quality KPI’s for assigned franchisees.
Identify value-added insights to enrich each call and motivate ADs to excel. • Periodically travel to franchisee locations to share and glean best practices.
Work with all i9 Sports Departments to ensure network-wide compliance with all franchise model and brand standards.
Contribute to the on-going simplification and improvement of operational processes.
Help facilitate franchisee meetings and presentations including Peer Groups, regional meetings, and national conferences.
Perform other duties and special projects as required.
Measures of success:
Success and Growth of assigned ADs
Percentage of ADs above target KPIs & being “on formula”
Quarterly reviews of call frequency based upon call notes
Meeting project deadlines
Skills and Qualifications
Ability to build relationships quickly and to serve in a vision, direction, and inspirational role with others.
Understanding of the concepts of coaching and processes to gain results collaboratively.
Hands-on experience with developing goals and key performance indicators to drive results.
Experience troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions with key stakeholders.
Experience analyzing profitability and business financials of a business.
Understanding of the i9 Sports brand and the quality sport experience expected at all venues.
Proven track record of being a teammate at all levels in a cross functional team environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong presentation skills
