Overview:

i9sports is a leading youth recreational sports company dedicated to providing a fun and safe environment for children to learn and enjoy sports. We are currently seeking a dynamic Game Day Director to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring our game days run smoothly, and our participants have a positive experience.

Responsibilities:

As a Game Day Director, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple locations across three territories. Your primary responsibilities include:

Equipment Management:

Ensure all necessary equipment is ready and available for game day activities.

Coordinate equipment drops and pickups across the designated territories.

Venue Setup:

Assist in setting up venues before game day activities, ensuring they are organized and safe for participants.

Ensure all signage and promotional materials are displayed appropriately.

Venue Maintenance:

Maintain cleanliness and safety at venues throughout the day.

Address any facility-related issues promptly.

Staff Management:

Supervise and manage a team of 10-20 part-time staff members.

Provide guidance and support to staff during game days.

Collaboration with Operations Directors:

Work closely with the Operations Directors to address any operational needs and challenges.

Assist in resolving logistical issues and ensuring a seamless game day experience.

Use of Company Vehicle:

Utilize the company vehicle for equipment transport and other job-related tasks

Guerrilla Marketing Tasks:

Complete assigned marketing tasks from the General Manager

Qualifications:

This role involves the regular movement and setup of heavy equipment. Candidates must be physically fit and capable of lifting, carrying, and maneuvering heavy objects 40lbs without assistance. The ability to perform physical tasks related to equipment setup and maintenance is essential for this position.

Previous experience in event management, sports administration, or a related field is a plus.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Availability to work on Friday afternoons, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
