    Company Overview i9 Sports offers youth sports leagues, camps, and clinics for kids ages 4-14 in today’s most popular sports such as flag football, soccer, basketball, volleyball, and baseball. With our focus on fun, safety, convenience, and good sportsmanship, i9 Sports is reinventing the youth sports experience for families across the country. It’s the way youth sports should be.

    Job Summary Serve as an Instructor/Counselor for our multi-sport camp, which includes participants ages 4-11 in a recreational setting. Our Summer Camps run Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. for 6 weeks (July 8 – August 16). You will be responsible for greeting parents and participants, providing excellent customer service, overseeing and actively engaging with groups during passive/active games, drills, and more.

    We are currently hiring for the following locations:

    Tillicum Middle School (7/8-7/12, 8/5-8/9)

    Odle Middle School (7/22-7/26)

    Note: Must be available for a four-hour training shift at Odle MS in Bellevue between 6/24-6/28

    HIRING FAIR: JUNE 3 & 4, 2024 - All applicants must be able to attend one of those days

    Responsibilities

    Ensure fun, learning, and safety for all participants

    Teach and demonstrate core concepts, including Sportsmanship values

    Manage an age-appropriate level of instruction

    Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills

    Qualifications

    Excellent communication skills

    Sport-specific officiating, playing, or coaching experience

    Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problems

    Awareness and ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of participants

    Must be a critical thinker, have situational awareness, and great attention to detail

    Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships

    Must be at least 16 and able to pass a National Criminal Background Check

    CPR certified (training provided)
