iBorrow is a nationwide lending company that services and finances a significant number of sophisticated bridge loans on all commercial real estate property types. We are seeking a full-time Asset Manager to work with a dynamic, energetic, and effective team at our West Los Angeles headquarters. Although we are currently working remotely to keep our team safe, we hope to be able to open the office soon.

This role is an amazing opportunity to work alongside leadership. You will be responsible for the continued monitoring of property performance of our nationwide real estate portfolio as well as maximizing the potential sales or recapitalization of these assets. The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, or Economics and 7+ years of asset management experience working for a reputable commercial real estate lender or real estate operator in a similar capacity. To be successful in this role you must have real estate knowledge, a general understanding of accounting and finance, exceptional Excel skills, a proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and strong analytical abilities. You must be detail-oriented, a self-starter, have strong verbal/written communication skills, maintain a sense of urgency, work as a team player, and have a fantastic attitude.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

·         Oversee the portfolio’s leasing, operations, and construction teams to ensure optimal value is achieved for each asset.

·         Monitor assets, perform financial analysis, identify issues and make informed recommendations to enhance asset performance.

·         Work closely with accounting. Oversee draw process to ensure invoices are reviewed and draw requested are correct. Develop enhanced procedure for draw process.

·         Partner with Asset Management team based in TN.

·         Provide strategy, direction, and oversight for leasing and management teams in an effort to maximize cash flow and sales proceeds, and the ensure appropriate cost control measures are achieved.

·         Maintain knowledge of current market conditions in order to understand the competitive position of each asset in the portfolio from a leasing and investment perspective.

·         Oversee the reporting process (business plans and other monthly/quarterly reports) in a timely and efficient manner.

·         Collect an updated database of sales brokers and leasing professionals throughout the country.

·         Assist with other projects as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

·         7 years minimum of asset management experience for commercial real estate; private lending experience preferable.

·         Minimum Bachelor’s degree Real Estate, Finance, Accounting or Economics preferred.

·         Knowledge of financial concepts and real estate analysis.

·         Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving and communication skills.

·         Advanced proficiency in Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

·         Exceptional Excel knowledge.

·         Ability to travel about one week per month for site visits.

·         Familiarity with Google Docs and Google Drive, as well as G-Suite.
