    iDesign is seeking a dynamic and collaborative SaaS Product Owner to join our team, responsible for guiding the success of our innovative software as a service products. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure a seamless user experience. The ideal candidate will be adept at balancing customer needs with business goals and will possess a strong technical background coupled with excellent communication skills. As a product owner, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the direction of our product, driving its continuous improvement, and maintaining a competitive edge in the market. Your strategic vision and leadership will be key in transforming ideas into reality and delivering value to our customers and stakeholders.

    What You'll Do

    As a SaaS Product Owner, you'll play a pivotal role in steering our product through its lifecycle, expertly navigating the balance between user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility. Your mission will be to ensure that the product not only meets but exceeds user expectations while delivering significant value to both users and the company. This dynamic role places you at the heart of our product strategy and development, making you a key driver of our product's success and impact.

    The successful candidate will work remotely as a full-time employee.

    You will:

    • Develop Product Vision and Strategy :
      • ****Craft and communicate a clear vision for the product that resonates with the company's goals and customer needs.

      • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize features that align with the product strategy.

      • Monitor product performance and user feedback to continually refine the product strategy.

    • Lead Cross-Functional Teams : * Actively engage with the CEO, COO, CAO, CMO, development, creative, and learning design teams to ensure a unified approach to product vision, development, and deliverables. * Ensure shared understanding of the product vision and synchronize all teams towards common goals.
    • Oversee the Development Process : * Collaborate with the Project Manager to guide the product from conception to release and beyond. * Implement an agile development process, breaking it down into smaller, shorter projects that allow for quick releases and continuous learning. * Employ Agile Scrum methodologies to guide the development process, adapting the approach to fit the team and organizational culture.
    • Engage in Market and User Research : * Conduct market research and user testing regularly to gather insights about customer needs and preferences. * Utilize data from each touchpoint and transaction to identify user behaviors, preferences, and pain points.
    • Focus on User Experience and Design : * Collaborate with architects and agile team to write user stories and requirements that include acceptance criteria and acceptance tests. * Work with UX/UI designers to make the product intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing. * Ensure the delivery of a seamless and engaging user experience.
    • Manage Product Backlog : * Prioritize and maintain the product backlog, ensuring the team focuses on the most impactful tasks. * Determine which features to implement next based on user feedback, market trends, and business objectives.
    • Facilitate Stakeholder Communication : * Serve as a liaison between the development team and external stakeholders. * Clearly and concisely communicate progress, challenges, and changes to keep technical and non-technical stakeholders aligned and informed.
    • Assess Feature Performance : * Track and analyze performance metrics to gauge product success against goals. * Identify necessary improvements or changes based on data insights.
    • Manage Risk : * Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with the product development process. * Anticipate potential issues and plan accordingly to prevent disruptions.
    • Champion Continuous Improvement : * Develop and maintain a deep understanding of web applications, their users, and the market to drive product innovation and improvements. * Predict customers' future needs to tailor product development and enhancements to meet those evolving expectations.

    What You Need to Get the Job Done

    • Educational Foundation: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Business Administration, Business Analysis, or a related field is typically required.

    • Product Management Experience: At least 5 years in product management or a related field, managing SaaS products from inception to market release and beyond. Includes overseeing product strategy, feature prioritization, and lifecycle management. Experience in business analysis within IT or for an EdTech company is preferred.

    • Technical Expertise: A comprehensive understanding of web applications, including their development, product architectures, and implementation processes.

    • Agile/Scrum Proficiency: Hands-on application of Agile and Scrum frameworks, leading sprints, and coordinating with developers, designers, and project managers to ensure timely product iterations and adapt to organizational needs.

    • Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead diverse teams, including direct management of cross-disciplinary groups comprising engineers, designers, and marketing professionals, to achieve cohesive product outcomes.

    • User Research and Design: Competency in executing comprehensive market research, applying UX/UI design standards, and leveraging user feedback to guide product enhancements.

    • Communication Skills: Strong capabilities in presenting product plans, negotiating feature sets with stakeholders, and ensuring consistent communication across all levels of an organization. **

    • Data Analytics Experience: Proven experience in working with databases, a solid understanding of how data is related, and hands-on performing data analysis in Excel and other tools.
