iEducate embeds college and high school students alongside teachers to provide co-teaching instructional support to Title I elementary students, addressing the need for immediate high-impact tutoring while also cultivating a pipeline of homegrown future educators through direct classroom experience.

Job Description
Type: Part-time, seasonal work. Receive $14-15/hour for mandatory whole-team trainings and for interviewing. Weekly hours will range depending on your availability & the amount of applicants.
Responsibilities
- Execute iEducate interviews at a high level following the iEducate Selection Script with fidelity
- Build rapport with candidates, communicate our mission, values, model effectively and answer questions with confidence
- Each week update your iEducate calendar with availability for interviews for the following week.
- Check your iEducate calendar daily for interviews that have been scheduled for the following day.
- Use application materials and evidence to effectively evaluate a candidate against our iEducate Selection Rubric and make a well calibrated call on a final rating
- Write clear, concise evaluations that are rubric based
- Submit video recordings of each interview and written evaluations on time
- Attend mandatory whole-team trainings.
Work Demands
****Ability to observe tutors' instruction, requiring travel to school sites during business hours. Independents travel to multiple school sites throughout the day that may be significant distances from one another.
Occasional weekends and evening work required
A valid driver's license and valid automobile liability insurance
Regular attendance is required
Able to lift 20 lbs

Location
****Remote. Trainings are in-person at our Houston, TX office.
