The Position :

iFixit is currently seeking an enthusiastic candidate to fill an open Inventory Quality Assurance position on our Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing incoming inventory by performing thorough quality assurance checks: including packaging each part and occasionally performing functional testing. Most of the parts we process are for laptops, tablets, and mobile devices — which require the ability to stay focused on teeny tiny parts and little details during your shift. The applicant does not need to have any background knowledge of these parts; just the ability to learn, pay close attention to detail, and work efficiently (doing frequently repetitive tasks). Integrity, reliability, and respect for your fellow team members are important. You will also occasionally need to work with other departments to troubleshoot, so great communication is a must! We are currently looking for full time availability , but will consider part time for the right candidate.

Bonus points if you have any of the following:

• Technical knowledge
• Familiarity with repair & lithium-ion batteries
• Familiarity with Google Suite and Slack

This is an hourly position ($16-$19/hour range) available locally at our downtown San Luis Obispo office. You must be able to come into the office to perform the necessary functions of the job.
