Afternoon Child Care Teacher Responsibilities:
Develop and utilize lesson plans that align with iKids U curriculum and program objectives
Lead and supervise children of preschool and elementary age during after-school activities
Establish positive connections with children and families
Effectively communicate with parents and colleagues
Maintain a secure and inviting environment for children
Afternoon Child Care Teacher Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in education or a related field preferred
Previous experience working with children in a classroom, after-school, or camp setting
Familiarity with child development, including age-appropriate activities and behavior management strategies
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Capacity to work independently as well as part of a team
CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain
