    POSITION SUMMARY:

    iOFFICE seeks an experienced software development leader, who can support engineering initiatives for our fast growing, dynamic development team, delivering timely solutions to the market, and execute the challenging development activities on our comprehensive application roadmap.  iOFFICE is growing rapidly, both organically and through acquisition.  Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering, the Engineering Manager is responsible for the execution and pave of a number of our development teams.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 

    • Collaborate with Workplace Division leaders across the company to drive toward the vision of iOFFICE's Workplace platform
    • Reinforce roadmap initiatives and coordinate priorities with your team while managing cross-departmental dependencies in tandem with Product.
    • Create a fertile ground of trust, curiosity, creativity, and agility for engineers to get work done seamlessly.
    • Develop a good understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of various team members, including what motivates & inspires them. (listening and cheerleading are the usual modus operandi!)
    • Support the engineering team in achieving a high level of technical excellence and stability
    • Manage processes/tools to supplement the team’s ability to do its best work and interface effectively with the rest of iOFFICE
    • Recruit great engineers in collaboration with iOFFICE's recruiting team
    • Nurture engineering talent on the team; encouraging growth in their careers.
    • Stay up to date technically.
    • Contribute to engineering-wide initiatives as a member of iOFFICE's engineering management team
    • Use data and metrics to help your team and the division continuously improve

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Led teams that shipped and operated critical infrastructure.   ​You'll have significant responsibility over the Workplace products your teams build, and the ability to make or break iOFFICE's future
    • A genuine enjoyment of learning and diving into the nuts-and-bolts of how things work — in this role, you'll learn a ton about facility management, employee experience, and many more topics
    • The ability to work very well cross-functionally,  able to think rigorously, and make hard decisions and tradeoffs
    • The ability to thrive on a high level of autonomy and responsibility
    • The desire to encourage a healthy work environment that's both supportive and challenging
    • The ability to ask Engineers great questions.
    • A history of “getting one’s hands dirty” in the code.
    • Demonstrated experience leading on or more teams to great outcomes
