    Job Description

    PURPOSE

    iScribeMD is a leading regional medical documentation company. The Human Resources and Recruitment Specialist will possess a "can-do" attitude and be willing to hit the ground (and phones) running while having the skills necessary to outwardly display our brand in its talent acquisition process. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, reviewing submitted application materials, assisting applicants with the overall application process, submitting eligible candidate lists to departments, reviewing background checks, reporting background check results to departments, conducting employment and education verifications for new and promoted employees, assisting with bi-weekly payroll prep and maintaining the group’s benefit programs.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION

    • Recruitment/Hiring
      • Develop and implement a recruiting strategy for iScribeMD
      • Communicate regularly on recruiting needs
      • Review candidates and staffing requirements as needed to ensure goals are being met
      • Identify events to attend where recruitment can be performed in conjunction with leadership staff
      • Participate in site specific and/or function specific recruiting and community events as needed
      • Attend various job/career fairs and participate in various outreach initiatives
      • Build and maintain relationships with academic advisors
      • Stay current on recruiting trends
      • Write/edit position advertisements and place recruitment advertising
      • Utilize social networking sites and job boards
      • Actively market and promote iScribeMD
    • Onboarding
      • Manage high-volume hourly employee recruiting and selection
      • Ensure a positive experience for all candidates, beginning with initial contact
      • Provide timely, accurate, and relevant feedback to candidates throughout the hiring process
      • Maintain integrity of data entered into Talent Management System
      • Review and categorize applicants efficiently
      • Communicate effectively with all team members to expedite the hiring and onboarding process
      • Schedule pre-employment requirements (i.e. drug test and background checks)
      • Utilize current software and process to improve efficiencies in the onboarding process of part-time employees
    • Human Resources and Payroll
      • Complete EEOC Annual Report
      • Run bi-annual 401K Eligibility Report (January and July)
      • Maintain benefit enrollment documentation for current and terminated employees
      • Ensure all on-boarding paperwork, including Form I-9, is completed, appropriately documented and reported weekly
      • Submit all workers’ compensation claims to the appropriate managed care organization
      • Complete monthly new hire reporting state submissions
      • Reply to all state unemployment claims
      • Review and submit bi-weekly payroll for all hourly employees
      • Review and approve all merit and promotion raises in accordance with iScribeMD corporate policies
    • Organizational Development and Promotion Management
      • Assist in the promotion process including maintenance of a pipeline of employees seeking promotion opportunities

    EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • Ability to interact with others with integrity
    • Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals at all levels of the organization
    • Strong communication skills are required; must be able to effectively communicate thoughts and actions through various forms of communication including verbal, written, and oral
    • Strong interpersonal skills and computer literacy
    • Committed individual who can prioritize their workload and manage conflicting demands in order to work efficiently
    • Must be able to speak and interpret English fluently
    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
    • 2-4 years professional experience preferred – Any industry
    • HR and Payroll experience preferred
    • Experience with corporate and agency recruiting preferred
    • Experience with high volume recruiting preferred
    • Must have strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport rapidly
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential material
    • Proficiency with MS Office and Outlook
    • Proficiency with web-based recruiting systems, internet tools, and direct sourcing methods

    WORKING RELATIONSHIPS The HR and Recruitment Specialist will work directly under the guidance of the Director of Operations. He or she will also work alongside healthcare providers, trainers, scribes, operation managers, and other corporate staff.

    REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS The HR and Recruitment Specialist will directly report to the Director of Operations. He or she will have responsibilities that will require collaboration with the operations team and other corporate employees of iScribeMD.

    WORKING CONDITIONS Administrative time will be completed in a professional office environment located in Toledo, OH.
