Desktop Support Consultant
Job Summary
IT Support Engineer
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Configure and maintains computers, peripherals, and software for end users.
· Sets up and maintains Active Directory Accounts for users and devices.
· Oversees end user management including new hire setup, terminations, employee changes.
· Utilizes various tools to remotely support end users.
· Provides support and resolutions based on incoming requests to helpdesk ticketing platform.
· Provides training to end users on hardware and software.
· Assists with audio / visual needs in conference rooms.
· Supports machine/equipment connectivity to the network.
· Report network issues when discovered; may support network team.
· Provides first level support for ERP system; Opens tickets with third-party provider when necessary.
· Maintains mobile hand-held devices and desk phone systems, Coordinates repairs for hand-held device issues.
· Monitors printer issues and contacts hardware vendor when needed for repair and supplies.
· Ensures accurate equipment and software inventory (licenses, asset list, devices etc.).
· Available to work a normal day onsite and availability for off hours support when needed.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
