    Job Description

    TITLE: BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST - TECHNICAL LOCATION: BURBANK, CA DURATION: FULL TIME Looking for highly motivated and energetic individual to join our Oracle Applications team as a full time employee. This individual is primarily responsible for Oracle Financials, Purchasing, Inventory and related modules support. And, should be able to work with the business teams, Oracle developers, database administrators, business analysts, Oracle fusion middleware teams etc. This person is expected to work out of the Burbank office Monday through Friday during normal business hours. This position is exempt. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Develop, implement and support business solutions in Oracle R12 E-Business Suite environment particularly in General Ledger, Payables, Purchasing, iProcurement, Inventory, Order Management modules, Asset Management, Projects, Internet Expenses and E-Business Tax modules
    • Work with Oracle Support for knowledge and issue resolution
    • Support month end Period close activities.
    • Support reconciliation between sub-ledgers and General Ledger.
    • Create test scripts, lead and perform system testing. Support user acceptance testing and go live.
    • Assure adherence to all IT controls and maintain alignment with IT Strategies
    • Manage application lifecycles including release planning (enhancement/upgrade), maintenance (bug fix and routine patching)
    • Perform other duties as assigned or requested

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
    • Very good understanding of Financial and Accounting concepts
    • 7+ years of experience as a functional analyst in Oracle Applications 11i / R12
    • Expert in Oracle General Ledger, Payables, Purchasing, iProcurement, Inventory, Order Management, Asset Management, Projects, Internet Expense, Sub-ledger Accounting modules
    • Very good knowledge of AME, Workflow
    • Knowledge in Payables and Purchasing integration with Vertex, General Ledger integration with Hyperion a plus
    • Expert in application support including problem analysis and resolution
    • Able to work as a liaison between the business community and technical teams
    • Posessive excellent problem solving and communication skills (written and verbal)Knows how to use TOAD or other SQL tools to be able to write simple queries to perform data validations and to support end users.
    • Capable of working in a fast paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment.
    • Should be able to work independently under minimal supervision
