OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE is licensed and with underwriting experience. Ideally some college or an undergraduate degree. The UW will not work directly with clients, so service experience isnt required. We care more about ability to think analytically, problem solve, take initiative and see projects through to completion. We work with various carriers beyond Farmers so need someone who can think through that as well if Farmers declines a risk (which is about 40% of the time on the home side).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Quote, bind and prepare Weiser Agency proposals for new business
• Complete same day eligibility checks
• Provide same day sample quotes
• Complete all Evidence of Insurance requests for new business
• Provide Client Concierge with receipts and EOIs for same day Welcome email
• Lead all non-Farmers renewals
• New business carrier + market research
• Complete ballpark estimates for referral partners

COMPENSATION:

• $40k base salary

• Commission Conservative projection to be

• 3% of new business revenue that PL UW quotes and binds

• 2% of non-Farmers Personal Lines revenue that Personal Lines Underwriting quotes and renews w/ Agency
