NEW YORK STATE CERTIFIED TEACHERS (MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL) iTutor.com Inc. Part-Time Opportunity- Work from Home/Remote DO YOU WANT TO BE AN ONLINE TEACHER?

iTutor provides live, online one-on-one and small group instruction to school districts, colleges, and universities across the U.S. We specialize in homebound instruction, credit recovery assistance, and test preparation--including SAT, AP, and ACT--all delivered over our online platform. Our teachers select teaching schedules that conform to their availability and work entirely from their homes. iTutor is not an in-person tutoring company, so there is no need to travel to students' homes, schools, or tutoring centers. We seek New York State certified teachers comfortable with a flexible teaching schedule and interested in teaching online throughout the year.Our preferred candidate would be a Mathematics Teacher, Physics Teacher, Chemistry Teacher, Science Teacher, French Teacher, or an Italian Teacher certified to teach in New York.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR OUR TEACHERS

• Teach course content via webcam, microphone and our online classroom/whiteboard
• Administer and assess exams and assignments
• Keep in communication with in-school teachers
• Submit reports following class sessions
• Present self in a professional manner
• Motivate and engage with students

Qualifications

MUST HAVE:

• Teaching certification in at least one US state, or National Board certification
• Computer, webcam, and microphone with a reliable internet connection
• Proficiency with technology
• Prior classroom teaching experience

Required education:

• Bachelor's

Required license or certification:

• New York State teaching certificate
