    WHAT YOU'LL DO ON A DAILY BASIS In this role you will provide WebLogic Middleware Administration to the Enterprise Management IT Services (EMITS) effort supporting the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC). The DMDC supports major programs and initiatives within the DoD and maintains the largest archive of personnel, manpower, training, security and financial data within the DoD. The DMDC mission supports those who serve our country and their family members.

    ROLE DESCRIPTION:

    • Provide analysis related to the design, development and integration of hardware, software and system level requirements to provide an integrated IT solution
    • Develop integrated system test requirements and strategies
    • Support J2EE Web Applications deployed across multiple Classified and Unclassified WebLogic environments
    • Prepare environments for application deployments by configuring clusters
    • Performance tune WebLogic Servers and identify resource usage concerns and potential application issues
    • Support Data Center migrations as needed

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • 5+ years System Administration experience to include:
      • SECRET Security Clearance per government contract
      • 2+ years WEBLOGIC ADMINISTRATION
      • Experience supporting clustered WebLogic Application servers
      • SECURITY+ Certification
      • CCNA Certification

    REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

    • Oracle WebLogic Server Certification
    • SECURITY+ Certification
    • CCNA Certification
