    TITLE: SENIOR CONSULTANT

    ROLE: CYBER SECURITY ENGINEER (TEAM LEAD)

    LOCATION: SEASIDE CA

    We are looking to hire a Cyber Security Engineer with an analytical mind and a detailed understanding of cyber security methodologies. Cyber Security Engineers are expected to have a meticulous attention to detail, outstanding problem-solving skills, work comfortably under pressure and deliver on tight deadlines.

    ON A DAY TO DAY BASIS YOU WILL:

    • Leverage your systems engineering experience in the field of network security / boundary protection, cybersecurity, cyber analytics, and threat analytics for DMDC IT Operations
    • Provide Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR) for System Requirements Review (SRR), System Functional Review (SFR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), Test Readiness Review (TRR), Production Readiness Review (PRR), and Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
    • Providing cybersecurity and systems engineering support for Host Base Security System (HBSS) and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
    • Managing the deployment of Cyber Security mandated system upgrades, patches, and perform modifications to ensure systems are protected against known exploits.
    • Develop and track POAMS, ATOs, and Boundary documentation for EMITS
    • Manage a team of 4 5 security engineers

    REQUIRED EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Current Secret Clearance; TS preferred

    • Bachelor's degree in software/systems/computer/electrical engineering

    • Must have one of the following Cybersecurity certifications:

    • CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP)

    • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) (or Associate)

    • Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Security Leadership Certification (GSLC).

    • 5+ years experience in systems engineering with a focus in cybersecurity, network security or boundary protection.

    • Experience utilizing and applying Security Classification Guides (SCG) across various networks

    • Experience conducting System Engineering Technical Reviews

    • Understanding of Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Configuration Management processes for various baselines.

    • Understanding of Top Secret and Below Interoperability (TSABI)/ Secret and Below Interoperability (SABI) Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) Processes and experience developing artifacts that support approval process for production systems.

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Current Top Secret
    • Experience with ChangeGear and ServiceNow
    • Experience with Solar Winds
    • Understanding of Risk Management Framework
    • Understanding of eMASS
