About the Role
imaware is continuing to grow as we build new and exciting partnerships with companies who want to use our home-based testing solutions to better serve the health and wellness of their customers. This evolution of our business has brought a renewed focus on the need for someone committed to our accounts receivable/billing, account payable, and reporting operations. Reporting to the CFO and the President, the Finance & Billing Analyst will play a critical role across finance, accounting, sales, and customer experience teams. On top of providing accurate billing for B2B customers, they will also drive reporting and analytics insights for the sales and customer success teams, and act as a cross-functional business partner across the organization. • Completely own all day-to-day accounts payable, accounts receivable/billing operations, implementing best practices and improving processes as needed
• Build out insightful reporting functionality for internal sales and customer experience teams, as well as external client requests
• Implement AR/billing best practices in client contracts, acting as the subject matter expert for both internal teams and external customers
• Continuously evolve with a rapidly changing business, offering support for new business initiatives, testing offerings, client partnerships, etc. and how we can best invoice them

Minimum Requirements

• 2-4+ years of professional experience in an AP, AR/billing, finance, and/or accounting focused position
• Demonstrable experience creating insightful reports and reporting processes, ideally with working knowledge of Tableau
• Highly collaborative with a track record of resolving business problems in partnership with others
• Coachable and eager to learn – although you will have a high level of ownership over key areas, you know what you don't know and are looking for new ways grow and improve

Preferred Qualifications

• Located within a commutable distance to Austin, TX or willing to relocate to the area
• Bachelor's degree in an Accounting, Finance, or Economics related field is highly preferred
• Previously owned or played a significant role in AR/billing operations, with knowledge on how best to set up contracts, invoicing, etc.
• Prior experience within health/healthtech, wellness, and/or medical industries, particularly at a startup/early-stage company
