Job Description

We are seeking an Immigration Paralegal to become part of our team. You will provide overall support to attorneys' business needs.

Responsibilities

All around client-service, Interviewing, assist with forms, preparation of applications, collection of case supporting documents as required. Follow up communications and appointments with clients as needed.

Manage Attorneys' calendaring (Google Calendar)

Prepare legal document drafts, fillings, mailings by mail or electronic means.

Follow up communication with Immigration Courts, relevant government agencies and the general public as needed.

Translate clients documents and serve as interpreter as needed (from Spanish to English).

Other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Fluency in English and Spanish REQUIRED.

Preferred previous Profit or Non-Profit Immigration Defense Office environment experience or similar.

Strong interpersonal skills and attentive to detail, multitasking, ready to work on a fast-passed environment, computer and office skills (MS Office). Strong oral and written skills. Sensitive to needs of culturally diverse clientele.
